Back after long break

It's good to come back after long break. Now I need to figure out what type of board I am using form my project! First trying were wrong Looks like it is DOIT ESP32 DEVKIT V1 I also learn that one of my RFID readers stops working... who know why. Possible work of some alien civilization trying to stop me from finding something :O Looking into energy consumption RC522 Features 13.56MHz RFID module Operating voltage: 2.5V to 3.3V Communication : SPI, I2C protocol, UART Maximum Data Rate: 10Mbps Read Range: 5cm Current Consumption: 13-26mA Power down mode consumption: 10uA (min) here some nice advice about RFID and power saving Hello, I have a very important decision to take based in the wake up from deep sleep. If ESP32, or ESP8266 can wake up from deep slep based on RX pin status, then i use ESP. If not i have to use a regular transceiver. What is all about. I have an RFID reader connected to an NodeMcu – ESP8266 RX pin. When i read a card, i send the numbers of the card to...

Learning mountain

Image
The Saturday learning climb started from an idea growing from last few weeks. The dome button which I can smash!   All that started from soldering at the morning hours. Nothing better then morning smell of flux and solder. The result - Might ESP32 with display now have 36 legs. You need lots of legs to be mighty Now I would have to climb the mountain of unknown knowledge and mystery. So I started with understanding Pins on ESP32. Here Hook up channel on YouTube comes with help https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c0tMGlJVmkw as well as documentation https://github.com/Heltec-Aaron-Lee/WiFi_Kit_series/blob/master/PinoutDiagram/WIFI_Kit_32(New).pdf Few minutes later I know some new concepts like:Pull down/up resistor, PinMode, analog pin, digital pin and probably more cool staff that my subconsciousness still remember.  The most important I lean what pins I can use to input or output my Electrifying Signals ⌁⌁⌁ for Mighty ESP32. Next small step is to f...

Showing off all his pixels

Another wonderful buy ESP32 with OLED 128X64 display. I am happy opwner of Heltec WiFi kit 32. That means I have dispaly, Wifi, battery managemant and LoRa all on one board! Such a joy of looking at this hypnotic blinking pixels displaying whatever I want whenever I want. Now I can see local WiFi networks, battery level or even invite my friend Francesco into my matrix ^.^ Now Francesco is a part of bigger futuristic future of IoT matrix

My powerful friend Arduino ESP32

Image
Today my friend Arduino show my his might power of sending POST request to server. Arduino ESP32 and his disciple RFID-RC522 give me beautiful uid of my cart!! Just look below what server mouth logs are saying to me. I see Index -1715628757 everywhere. now is just a matter of checking why Id is negative hmm.... mysterious puzzle that will have to be solver very very soon. Possible it is related to translating unasigne log number to char and to String after. I am sure mighty Arduino will have some solution to that problem!

Stormy weekend outside, good coding inside

Image
What I did this weekend? 1. Sent request from postman. hoho now I can test request to my API by postman 2. Sent simple POST request to server with ANY data. I was able to send request from ESP32 to my server. 3. THE BIGGEST WIN this week. Written email to Botland explain project and ask for advice. I also made draw of idea to explain better what I meant in email. I had productive weekend and I feel good about the progress I made. Past week I have several problem with my laptop that I solved after 3 week of unbelievable fight and struggle, but me as true warrior manage to climb that wall. Meaning the laptop crashed without boot to Windows  or Linux and what was the worst I did not have bootable USB. Fiend from Norway brought me one and from that day I am grateful for his help to end of my days. Lenge bor norge! And here we go with next week!
